1. Introduction
This privacy policy describes how WeekBook (hereinafter “the App,” “we,” or “us”) accesses, collects, uses, and shares user data. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy complies with the Google Play User Data Policy. We encourage you to read it carefully. By using WeekBook, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data Collection Use
WeekBook is committed to minimizing data collection. The only circumstances under which data may be collected or used are: Advertising data: WeekBook displays an advertisement when the app is launched in its free version. This advertisement is provided by a third-party advertising network (SDK). In accordance with Google Play’s policy, this network may collect non-personal data (such as your Android advertising ID, device type, and operating system) to show you relevant ads. We do not share any of your personal data with this advertising network. For the Premium (purchased) version, ads are disabled on startup, and no data is collected or transmitted through this method. App Features: The app uses the data you enter (e.g., your journal entries, notes) only to provide its basic features. This data is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted, collected, or shared by us. Purchase Data: To process the one-time purchase of the Premium version, WeekBook uses Google Play’s payment services. We do not have access to your complete payment information. Google Play only sends us confirmation that the purchase has been completed.
3. Types of Data Not Collected
To clarify, WeekBook does NOT collect the following types of personal and sensitive data: Precise location (GPS) Contacts and phonebook Call logs and SMS messages Photos, videos, or audio files Biometric or health information Persistent device identifiers (IMEI, etc.)
4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell any personal data to third parties. The only data sharing occurs via the advertising SDK in the free version, as described in section 2.
5. Data Security
We are committed to processing all user data securely. Data transmission via the advertising SDK is done over modern encrypted connections (HTTPS), in accordance with Google Play requirements. Data stored locally on your device is protected by the Android security system.
6. Data Retention / Deletion
The Application does not store your data on our servers. All your data (notebook entries) is stored solely on your device. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the Application.
WeekBook does not require or allow the creation of user accounts. Therefore, Google Play’s requirement regarding account deletion does not apply to this Application.
